Mother's Day 2022


Client: Shutterfly

Role: Creative / Art Director.

Consumers view Mother's Day as a top celebratory/sentimental occasion outside of the Holidays for Shutterfly.

A campaign for this celebration was created in 2022, which involved new photography, design elements and overall look and feel.

This art direction was reflected across all platforms in which Shutterfly has presence, including Emails, Website and Catalog.


I had the opportunity to art direct a photoshoot; for this, I created a series of sketches that helped in the set to visualize and organize what was needed to make this campaign visually impacting for mothers.

Photography was inspired by light woods, textured brick walls, and botanicals to create light and bright lifestyle photography that keeps the Shutterfly product as hero.


The campaign was present on Emails.

Website Marquees were also created

Catalog is the key revenue driver for Shutterfly business.

Mother's day campaign was one of the most important segments in the Q2 Spring Gift Guide where a lot of this art direction was show, which also involved the photography and the overall look and feel.
